MICHAELA ROSE PETIT Obituary

MICHAELA ROSE PETIT
11-17-1995 -  7-23-2007

Happy Sweet 16 Michaela! We all miss you and your sweet smile and disposition every day. We are celebrating your life on the 17th with our first event to honor Women in Science. We know that as you finished 5th grade you liked the Gandhi paraphrase, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." We are hoping that encouraging more women to enter and remain in fields of scientific study will make the world a better place. The Michaela's 4 O'Clock Flower Project with the CT Science Center is going full steam ahead! Your flowers have been planted in 15-20 states. While you were here you were always smiling and always sticking up for the underdog. We will honor your memory every day.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 1 Mark 10:14-15

Happy Birthday sweet Michaela,
You are far beyond Heaven's gates.
We will celebrate you and your precious life forever.
We will carry your legacy,
We will 'be the change.'

And in this way, you will never leave us.
